Proposed additions to the LanguaL thesaurus
The LanguaL Technical Committees
publish proposals for new facet terms on the LanguaL
Internet site for international discussion and approval before incorporation
into the official LanguaL thesaurus.
The discussion period is two months from the date of submission to (date of
reception by) the LanguaL Technical Committee. Comments will be sent to the
submitter during the discussion period and will be published with the changes in
the following update of LanguaL.

At this moment, the following proposals are open for discussion:
- Proposal from Anders Møller, Danish Food Information, Denmark, on behalf of the CEN/TC 387 concerning inclusion of classifications for food/dietary supplements in LanguaL - submitted 2009-08-30 - Discussion ongoing - to be included in LanguaL 2010.
- Proposal from Anders Møller, Danish Food Information, Denmark, concerning inclusion of European regulation (Directive 2002/46/EC) of food supplement substances in LanguaL facet B - submitted 2009-07-29 - Discussion ongoing and follows progress of CEN/TC 387 proposal above.
